This role involves monitoring live feeds from APTN & Reuters, reviewing agency and raw footage, and suggesting topics to the editorial team. The position requires independently archiving information and documenting it in an internal database, as well as communicating with international news agencies. Responsibilities also include assisting the editorial team with archive research for contributions, working with AI applications, and analyzing the content of news reports. The ideal candidate will have a willingness to work early and late shifts, including weekends, and possess a passion for news and editorial work. They should be able to identify compelling visuals related to current political, economic, and social issues, demonstrate excellent general knowledge, work independently, and possess strong communication skills in German and very good English.
