Job Description

As a Support Engineer (Automation) at Playrix, you'll be responsible for providing technical support to internal users of the company's services, troubleshooting issues, and administrating internal platforms. This role involves diving deeper into automation, exploring analytics, and directly influencing the company's business outcomes. Key responsibilities include identifying and localizing errors, ensuring access to necessary data and tools, administrating platforms for analytics and marketing teams, collaborating with external vendors for complex issue resolution, analyzing data for anomalies, and writing SQL queries for data extraction and analysis. The ideal candidate will have experience in technical support and user consulting, knowledge of web and API technologies, and the ability to manage multiple tasks effectively.

Must have:

Experience in technical support and user consulting
Ability to write SQL queries for data extraction and analysis
Basic knowledge of web and API technologies
Experience with Git
Ability to manage a large number of tasks, prioritize effectively, and switch between them
Independence and result orientation

Our games have been installed 2.3 billion times (that's a third of the world's population!) and more than 30 million people around the world play them every day.

Team, about the role

Our team supports the company's key data- and web-services. Our solutions help reduce costs and increase productivity: last year, the company's expenses decreased by 30%, and over 3,000 employees gained quick access to data and tools, accelerating the development and launch of new features.

We are looking for a Support Engineer, who will provide user support, troubleshoot issues, and administrate our internal platforms. This role offers the opportunity to dive deeper into automation, explore analytics, and directly influence the company's business outcomes.

Tasks

Provide technical support to internal users of the company’s services, identify and localize errors, ensure access to the necessary data and tools.
Administrate platforms for analytics and marketing teams, assisting the automation team in maintaining their efficiency and availability.
Collaborate with external vendors' technical support to resolve more complex issues and improve system performance.
Analyze data for anomalies and discrepancies.

Our stack

SQL: Advanced queries, including nested queries, joins, and window functions.

Tools: Git, AWS (S3, Athena).

Web: HTTP methods, status codes, API requests, API testing.

Python: Basic understanding of code, data structures, algorithms, and OOP principles.

Requirements

Experience in technical support and user consulting.
Ability to write SQL queries for data extraction and analysis.
Basic knowledge of web and API technologies, including HTTP methods and status codes.
English: ability to read technical documentation and experience with business correspondence in English.
Experience with Git.
Ability to manage a large number of tasks, effectively prioritize, and switch between them.
Independence and result orientation.

Preferred

Knowledge of Python.
