System Engineering Project Specialist

Join Apple's Hardware Engineering Program Management Team as an Engineering Project Specialist (EPS). This role involves leading key Hardware Engineering projects, collaborating with various internal teams (Electrical Engineering, Product Design, Operations, Marketing) and global vendors. You will manage risks during early manufacturing builds, lead project communications, present issue resolutions, coordinate logistics for parts and prototypes, and manage budgets and purchase orders for system builds. Responsibilities include overseeing development builds globally, managing material and prototype distribution, maintaining delivery schedules, communicating demand to module teams, planning and managing hardware prototype allocation, tracking prototype units with vendors, securing shipping partners, ensuring secure destruction of excess materials, tracking expenses, creating and maintaining project budgets, submitting purchase requisitions, and authorizing payments.
