Job Description
- Install, configure, and maintain Progress Databases
- Monitor Database performance and optimize for efficiency and scalability including tuning queries, indexes and other parameters.
- Plan and implement database backup strategies, as well as recovery solutions for DR
- Provide tier 2/3 support for database related issues, troubleshooting complex database problems.
- Hands on experience on SQL Database management tools
- Experience in database clustering, replication and failover technologies.
- Excellent in problem solving skills and the ability to troubleshoot complex database issues.
