The Cloud Security Architect will design, implement, and manage security architecture for cloud environments (AWS, Azure, Google Cloud). The role requires collaboration with IT, DevOps, and development teams, along with continuous monitoring and improvement of security posture. Candidates need 9-12 years of IT experience, with 3-4 years in a Cloud Security Architect role, and relevant certifications like CISSP, CCSP.
Must have:
  • Design and implement security architecture for cloud environments (AWS, Azure, Google Cloud).
  • Conduct risk assessments and vulnerability analyses.
  • Create and enforce security policies, standards, and procedures.
  • Ensure compliance with security standards and regulations (e.g., GDPR, HIPAA, ISO 27001).
  • Develop and manage incident response plans for cloud security breaches.
  • Work closely with IT, DevOps, and development teams to integrate security.
  • Implement and manage security monitoring tools and systems.
  • Stay updated with cloud security trends and continuously improve security posture.
  • Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Information Technology, Cybersecurity, or a related field.
  • 9-12 years of overall IT experience, with a minimum of 3-4 years in a Cloud Security Architect role.
  • Relevant certifications such as CISSP, CCSP, AWS Certified Security Specialty or Azure Security Engineer Associate.
  • Deep understanding of cloud security principles and best practices.
  • Proficiency in cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, Google Cloud).
  • Experience with security tools and technologies (firewalls, intrusion detection/prevention systems, SIEM, etc.).
  • Knowledge of network security, encryption, identity and access management (IAM), and secure software development practices.

Your Role

The Cloud Security Architect will be responsible for designing, implementing, and managing the security architecture for our cloud environments. This role requires a deep understanding of cloud security principles, technologies, and best practices. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in cloud security architecture, with a proven track record of securing cloud-based systems and applications.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Design and Implementation: Develop and implement security architecture for cloud environments (AWS, Azure, Google Cloud, etc.).
  • Risk Assessment: Conduct risk assessments and vulnerability analyses to identify potential security threats and weaknesses.
  • Security Policies: Create and enforce security policies, standards, and procedures for cloud environments.
  • Compliance: Ensure compliance with relevant security standards and regulations (e.g., GDPR, HIPAA, ISO 27001).
  • Incident Response: Develop and manage incident response plans for cloud security breaches.
