Role summary

We are seeking a skilled and passionate Software Engineer, Enterprise Systems to design and build the internal systems that power Mistral’s growth. This is a highly impactful role at the intersection of engineering, finance, data, and operations.

You will be responsible for creating integrations, dashboards, and workflows that connect our daily tools and make information easily accessible across teams. Beyond coding, you will proactively meet with key stakeholders (C-levels and managers), understanding their challenges, and turning them into scalable software solutions.

This is the first hire for the Enterprise Systems function: you will start as an individual contributor, with a natural path to grow into a lead role as the team expands.

What you will do

• Build integrations & workflows: Design and implement connectors across internal systems (CRM, billing, HRIS, planning tools) to streamline processes.
• Develop dashboards & self-service tools: Deliver sleek, reliable, and easy-to-use interfaces that empower teams to access the information they need without friction.
• Collaboration: Gather requirements directly from stakeholders, prioritize needs, and deliver impactful solutions.
• Fullstack Development: Build web applications end-to-end (backend + frontend), ensuring scalability and maintainability.
• Drive impact: Become the go-to person for enterprise systems at Mistral, helping key information circulate and enabling faster, better decision-making.
• Prepare for scale: Lay the foundation for an Enterprise Systems team, with the opportunity to grow into a lead role.

About you

• Strong expertise in fullstack development with Typescript or Python — and ideally one of their related web frameworks (NextJS, React, Vue, FastAPI, etc.)
• Successful experience building internal software systems and workflows (API, integrations, connectors, dashboards)
• Ownership and capacity to ship products end-to-end.
• Passionate about improving operational processes and solving problems for others.
• Strong problem-solving abilities, attention to detail and ability to act as an internal enabler.
• Excellent communication and project management skills
• Low ego and team spirit mindset
• Autonomous and self-starter

Now it would be ideal if you had experience:

• With LLMs and agentic workflows
• Working with market-leading SaaS business solutions (Salesforce, Atlassian, Oracle, etc.)
• Infrastructure management (Docker, CI/CD, K8s...)
• Working closely with internal stakeholders (including C-levels).

Location & Remote

The position is based in one of our Paris HQ offices and we encourage going to the office as much as we can to create bonds and smooth communication. Our remote policy aims to provide flexibility, improve work-life balance and increase productivity. Each manager can decide the amount of days worked remotely based on autonomy and a specific context (e.g. more flexibility can occur during summer). In any case, employees are expected to maintain regular communication with their teams and be available during core working hours.
