The role

System Operations Specialist is a Fulfillment & Logistics Operations Execution role that together with a team has a range of initiatives including supporting flawless new customer on boardings and new system implementations, driving process standardization, proliferating best practices across the organization, supporting in digital transformation, and more.

We are the bridge between Operations and Technology, ensuring that operational requirements are understood by IT and configured correctly.

Primary Responsibilities:  

This position will work on the following initiatives: 

  • Spearhead and drive operational support and execution.
  • Understand and communicate customer business requirements
  • Drive standardization and centralization of business and system processes
  • Own development of business processes through collaboration with Execution and Tech platform
  • Jointly define and own our E2E business processes with Execution team
  • Support the development of improvements by leveraging system functionality
  • Ensure the operational platform remains up-to-date based on required improvements
  • Assess business and customer needs to identify system requirements
  • Prioritize, plan, test, and implement new system release and developments.
  • Provide system training and user support.
  • Ensure processes are properly documented, stored and shared to business unit through the creation of SOPs/IOPs
  • Responsible for process governance and adherence to defined standard operating processes
  • Assist in potential customer presentations on all applications.
Key Requirements:
  • Knowledge of Warehouse Management Systems (WMS)
  • Ability to approach all situations with tact, high emotional intelligence, diplomacy, and discretion.
  • Strong communication skills, verbal and written.
  • Customer focused.
  • Ability to fluently communicate in English.
  • Availability to traveling according to projects/clients needs.
