Job Description

Interface.ai is seeking a Technical Program Manager (TPM) to lead large-scale AI product initiatives, establish core product development processes, and deliver cutting-edge solutions that redefine the banking experience. This role involves managing multiple high-impact programs, ensuring seamless execution across cross-functional teams, and leveraging strong engineering expertise to navigate the complexities of building and shipping AI-driven products. The TPM will drive continuous learning cycles, robust feedback loops, and rigorous success measurement to transform the banking experience for consumers.
Must Have:
  • Define, establish, and scale program management processes.
  • Manage multiple product and technical programs simultaneously.
  • Ensure on-time delivery of high-quality AI products.
  • Align roadmaps and priorities with Product, Engineering, Data Science, and Customer teams.
  • Design and implement frameworks for planning, execution, risk management, and continuous improvement.
  • Build mechanisms to incorporate continuous feedback into product iterations.
  • Collaborate deeply with engineering teams, anticipate challenges, and enable fast problem-solving.
  • Define measurable success rates and thresholds for program outcomes, and track them rigorously.
  • Act as the connective tissue between Product, Engineering, GTM, and Operations.
  • 7+ years of experience in program or product management in fast-paced technology environments.
  • At least 3+ years in AI, ML, or complex software systems.
  • Strong academic or professional background in Computer Science, Engineering, or related technical discipline.
  • Demonstrated ability to set up scalable processes from scratch.
  • Deep understanding of AI/ML product lifecycles.
  • Strong organizational, prioritization, and execution skills.
  • Ability to define, measure, and critically evaluate success metrics.
  • Exceptional stakeholder management and communication skills.
  • Startup experience.

About the Role

The Technical Program Manager will be responsible for establishing core product development processes, managing multiple high-impact programs in parallel, and ensuring seamless execution across cross-functional teams. This individual will leverage strong engineering expertise to navigate the complexities of building and shipping AI-driven products, which evolve continuously and demand fast learning cycles, robust feedback loops, and rigorous success measurement. They must have prior startup experience.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Program Leadership: Define, establish, and scale program management processes across product and engineering teams.
  • Execution Excellence: Manage multiple product and technical programs simultaneously, ensuring on-time delivery of high-quality AI products.
  • Product Mindset: Work closely with Product, Engineering, Data Science, and Customer teams to align roadmaps and priorities.
  • Process Ownership: Design and implement frameworks for planning, execution, risk management, and continuous improvement.
  • Feedback Loops: Build mechanisms to incorporate continuous feedback from customers and internal teams into product iterations.
  • Engineering Alignment: Leverage strong technical expertise to collaborate deeply with engineering teams, anticipate challenges, and enable fast problem-solving.
  • Metrics & Success: Define measurable success rates and thresholds for program outcomes, and track them rigorously.
  • Cross-functional Collaboration: Act as the connective tissue between Product, Engineering, GTM, and Operations to ensure organizational alignment.

Requirements:

  • Experience: 7+ years of experience in program or product management in fast-paced technology environments, with at least 3+ years in AI, ML, or complex software systems.
  • Engineering Background: Strong academic or professional background in Computer Science, Engineering, or related technical discipline.
  • Proven Track Record: Demonstrated ability to set up scalable processes from scratch and successfully manage multiple programs in parallel.
  • AI/ML Exposure: Deep understanding of AI/ML product lifecycles, with experience shipping AI-powered solutions that evolve through continuous data and feedback.
  • Execution Skills: Strong organizational, prioritization, and execution skills in ambiguous, high-growth environments.
  • Analytical Skills: Ability to define, measure, and critically evaluate success metrics, adoption thresholds, and performance outcomes.
  • Communication: Exceptional stakeholder management and communication skills, with the ability to influence across technical and non-technical teams.
  • Required: Startup experience greatly valued.

Compensation:

The base salary range for this role will be between $160,000-$190,000. Final compensation will be determined by a variety of factors, including, but not limited to your location, skills, experience, education, and/or professional certifications. During the phone screening, your recruiter will provide the location-specific salary range for this role.
