UI Technical Artist

Job Overview

Wargaming is looking for а UI Technical Artist to work on World of Warships: Legends in our brand-new Belgrade office. World of Warships: Legends is a cross-platform gaming project in release on PS & XBOX consoles and on mobile devices. 

As a UI Technical Artist, you will be a bridge between design and technology, combining both artistic and technological aspects of new features and delivering it as an awesome experience for players.

Reports to

Meta Team Lead

What will you do?

• Design and implement interface elements in collaboration with UI designers and programmers using an in-house UI framework;
• Organize screens transition logic;
• Work on UI animations.

What are we looking for?

• Experience in Figma, Illustrator, and Adobe Photoshop.
• Solid design skills.
• Scripting or programming skills.
• Knowledge of markup-based languages (like HTML) and experience with modern Frontend development practices.
• Love for games.
• Intermediate English or higher.

What additional skills will help you stand out?

• Work experience in game development.
• Own projects.
• Experience working with modern web Frameworks.
• Strong portfolio (i.e. design or frontend examples).
• Experience with Python / ActionScript.
• Advanced Russian would be a plus.

Work mode

Hybrid (3 days of work from the office)
