As a UI Artist contracting with Gamebreaking Studios, you will use your skills to create stellar UI assets as a contractor on our co-dev team!
Gamebreaking Studios is looking for someone with experience working on high quality UI assets for games who is searching for opportunities to flex their creativity. For this position we are looking for folks who are skilled but hungry to improve and love collaborating with other devs and creatives. In this role, you would be creating high quality UI art assets in collaboration with other artists and designers, while also helping to define the look and feel of the UI of the project.
Artists on small teams like ours are valued not only for their artistic prowess but also for their flexibility and enthusiasm to contribute to design and feedback. We are looking for someone who is at least mid-level of artistic skill and collaboration ability. You would be expected to create and deliver high quality UI assets using direction from the design team, create mockups using Figma, and have an understanding of the Unreal art pipeline to help with incorporating the art. You will be working closely with designers, other artists, engineers, and have opportunities to contribute ideas of your own!

This position is a contract position, but may have opportunities to convert into a permanent hire at its conclusion, based on performance and our studio’s needs at the time. The timeline of the contract is approximately 6-12 months. Whoever we hire will be expected to work 40 hour work weeks, without the expectation of overtime.

This position is open to candidates living and working in Latin America. Applicants must be fluent in English, willing to work according to US time zones (must be available 8am - 3pm Pacific Time), and have a strong, stable internet connection conducive to remote work and video calls.
