Job Description

As an UX Designer at Frima, you will be responsible for developing intuitive, player-centric interaction experiences for mobile platforms. This includes creating effective user journeys, defining UX orientations based on game design goals and player needs, and presenting recommendations to project teams. You will also validate UX paths in the Unreal game engine and collaborate with design, programming, data analysis, and UI teams to promote best UX practices.
Must have:
  • Develop intuitive, player-centric interaction experiences for mobile platforms.
  • Create effective user journeys for game immersion and navigation.
  • Define UX orientations considering game design goals, player needs, and technical constraints.
  • Make recommendations and present them to project teams and external partners.
  • Validate UX paths in the Unreal game engine.
  • Collaborate with design, programming, data analysis, and UI teams.
  • College degree in UX design, interaction design, ergonomics, graphic design, cognitive psychology or other related degree, or equivalent experience.
  • Minimum 5 years of experience in UX design (user journeys, wireframes, interactive prototypes, documentation).
  • Excellent client-facing skills.
  • Concrete experience in video games, especially with Unreal engine.
  • Experience on mobile platforms.
  • Knowledge of Axure, Figma, or Adobe XD.
  • Excellent command of French and English (written and oral).
  • Available for international travel if needed.
  • Portfolio and/or demo required.

  • Passion for UX design and analysis of existing systems.
  • Interest in video games.
  • Good oral and written communication.
  • Ability to work in a multidisciplinary team.
  • Ability to manage time and work within production deadlines.
  • Excellent critical reasoning and sense of re-evaluation.

Job Description

What your weeks will look like

  • Developing intuitive, player-centric interaction experiences for a mobile platform;
  • Developing effective user journeys that facilitate immersion and navigation in the game;
  • Defining UX orientations, taking into account game design objectives, player needs, and technical constraints;
  • Making recommendations and presenting them to the project team as well as external partners;
  • Validating UX paths in the Unreal game engine to analyze interactive components;
  • Collaborating with design, programming, data analysis, and UI teams to promote good UX design practices.

Qualifications

What we are looking for

  • College degree in UX design, interaction design, ergonomics, graphic design, cognitive psychology or other related degree combined with equivalent experience;
  • Minimum five (5) years of experience in UX design, including the creation of user journeys, wireframes, interactive prototypes, and UX documentation;
  • Excellent client-facing skills;
  • Concrete experience in the video game field, particularly on projects using the Unreal game engine;
  • Experience on mobile platforms;
  • Knowledge of work software (Axure, Figma or Adobe XD);
  • Excellent command of French and English (written and oral). English skills are required for the work as we collaborate with English-speaking partners.
  • Available to travel internationally if needed;
  • Portfolio and/or demo required.
