Job Description

We are looking for a proactive and highly organized Studio Manager to oversee the smooth, day-to-day running of our Tenerife studio. This is a key role for someone who thrives in a creative environment and has a practical, hands-on approach to studio operations and people support.
Must have:
  • Manage all daily studio operations including security, cleaning, maintenance, utilities, workspace layout, and office supplies.
  • Work closely with the production and VFX teams to ensure seamless studio support.
  • Oversee purchasing and upkeep of equipment and office materials.
  • Support artist and crew relocation (including visas, housing, medical attention -at least initially-, travel, transport, and local bureaucracy).
  • Coordinate with the IT team on hardware, software, infrastructure, and procurement needs.
  • Closely coordinate HR matters with the HR department.
  • Maintain consistent studio presence during core working hours and be available when needed during off-hours or production peaks.
  • Use sound judgment to handle issues independently and escalate only when necessary.
  • Take full ownership of studio-related responsibilities with a problem-solving mindset.
  • Communicate effectively and professionally — keeping team updates relevant and purposeful.
  • Ensure clear understanding and adherence to company policies, ensuring a fair, equal and secure working environment for everyone.
  • Provide training to the team when needed (i.e. login in tools)
  • Support studio visibility through local marketing, partnerships, and industry events.
  • Maintain strong relationships with local authorities, vendors, and the film commission.
  • Help organise internal events and initiatives that enhance team morale and studio culture.
Good to have:
  • Spanish language skills
  • Experience within VFX, animation, or creative production

Required Skills and Qualifications

  • 3+ years of experience in studio, facilities, or office management — ideally within VFX, animation, or creative production.
  • Strong organization, prioritization, and follow-through skills.
  • Must be eligible to work in the EU
  • Self-motivated and resourceful — confident taking initiative and solving problems independently.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Fluent in Italian and English (Spanish is a plus).
  • Present, engaged, and aligned with the pace and rhythm of the studio environment.
