Must have:

Overview

We are looking for a talented Motion Graphics Designer and Video Editor to join our team. You will work under the supervision of the senior designers in the team and work on a broad range of projects for our impressive client list. This includes executing ideas and collaborating with other designers, copywriters, project managers, and business stakeholders.

The role requires you to understand the principles of motion design and have a keen interest in both 2D and 3D animation and video editing. You will be technically proficient across different skills within motion design, with a positive attitude and love for creative problem solving and finding solutions. You will be passionate about design craft and sweating the small details.

How You'll Make An Impact

  • Taking briefs and direction from Creative Directors, Senior Designers and consultants to execute motion graphics animations for a diverse array of projects
  • Contribute to the concepting phase of briefs
  • Deliver engaging motion design and animation projects for said briefs
  • Create style frames, storyboards, motion tests.
  • Work collaboratively as part of a larger team on the media focused areas of projects
  • Meeting schedules and project deadlines
  • Ongoing communication with production and leads regarding schedules and deadlines
  • Taking responsibility for own workload, time management and notes/feedback actions required by Supervisors
  • Ensure up to date with industry knowledge, current trend, and work to client brand guidelines.
  • Work in a fast-paced team where you may need to work on a number of projects at once
  • Drive projects from start to finish, working collaboratively across teams on ideation, creation and delivery
  • Be an active member of the studio, sharing your knowledge and contributing to the design culture within the wider company
  • Train on the job with the coaching and mentorship of our talented team of professionals, all with a wide range of experience to share and aid your growth but also give you the confidence to work autonomously.
  • Gain the confidence to present in client conversations within your specialism, providing recommendations and helping guide clients to make responsible choices.
  • Independently deliver outputs with the support and direction of senior designers, and begin to take ownership of projects as you progress.
  • Ensuring that projects are delivered on time as per the production schedule whilst maintaining accuracy and high-quality work to tight timescales
  • Collaborating with designers and creatives to continually improve the creative aesthetic and maintain a high standard of design across all content produced

  • Experience in motion design and editing
  • A portfolio of exciting and ground-breaking creative work
  • Fluent in After Effects and Premiere
  • Knowledge of Cinema 4d is a bonus
  • A strong eye for composition, color, typography, movement and depth
  • Good communication and problem-solving skills
