Job Description

The Welder I is responsible for preparing, executing, and inspecting welding activities in the fabrication, assembly, maintenance, and repair of components, equipment, and other products. This includes performing welding using the MIG/MAG process in various positions, using power tools like drills, grinders, and saws, and manual tools like pliers and hammers. The role requires visual inspection of welds, filling out daily checklists, and adhering to EHS procedures. The welder is also responsible for the proper use, conservation, maintenance, and optimization of company assets, as well as maintaining a clean and organized work area. They must comply with integrity and Compliance guidelines, as well as EHS standards and procedures.
Must have:
  • Perform MIG/MAG welding in 1F, 2F, 1G positions.
  • Use power tools such as drills and grinders.
  • Use hand tools like pliers and hammers.
  • Complete visual weld inspections.
  • Fill out daily checklists.
  • Comply with EHS procedures.
  • High school diploma or equivalent.
  • Technical course in Welding/Mechanical Fabrication.
Good to have:
  • Knowledge of Metrology
  • Reading and interpretation of technical drawings
  • Knowledge about types of wires, electrodes and gases

DESCRIÇÃO SUMÁRIA 

O Soldador I desempenha atividade na preparação, execução e inspeção de atividades de soldagem na fabricação, montagem, manutenção e reparo de componentes, equipamentos e outros produtos. 

DESCRIÇÃO DETALHADA/ ESCOPO DAS ATIVIDADES 

  • Realizar soldagem utilizando processo MIG/MAG nas posições 1F,2F,1G 

  • Uso de ferramentas elétricas, como: furadeiras, esmeriladeiras, policortes, serras circulares, entre outros. 

  • Uso de ferramentas manuais, tais como: alicates, martelos, marretas, punções, etc. 

  • Realizar inspeção visual da solda 

  • Preenchimento de check-list diários 

  • Cumprir procedimentos de EHS 

  • Responder pela correta utilização, conservação, manutenção e otimização dos ativos da companhia, bem como zelar pela limpeza e organização da área de trabalho. 

  • Cumprir as diretrizes de integridade e Compliance, bem como as normas e procedimentos de EHS da companhia.

Ensino médio completo, Curso técnico em Soldagem/Fabricação Mecânica 

Experiência
