Job Description

This role offers the opportunity to gain valuable practical experience in mechanical design and configuration management. You will support an interdisciplinary team in developing and validating components for high-voltage generators and X-ray tubes, collaborating with designers, supplier engineers, and manufacturing. You will also assist with design changes, initial sample inspections, bill of materials creation, process validation documentation, and quality management records, gaining insights into agile project structures and an innovative medical technology company's operations.
Must have:
  • Ongoing studies in a technical field, e.g., mechanical engineering, design engineering.
  • First experience with 3D-CAD tools (e.g., SolidEdge).
  • First experience with Configuration Management Tools (e.g., Windchill).
  • Very good German language skills.
  • Very good English language skills.

Job Details

In this role, you have the opportunity

to gain valuable practical experience in mechanical design and configuration management. You will support our interdisciplinary team in the development and validation of components for high-voltage generators and X-ray tubes and work closely with designers, supplier engineers, and manufacturing. You will gain insights into agile project structures (Scrum) and the processes in an innovative medical technology company.

Your tasks

  • Support with design changes of components and parts
  • Accompanying initial sample inspections for globally sourced components
  • Collaboration in the creation of bills of materials in cooperation with design and configuration managers
  • Support in the documentation of process validation for manufacturing processes
  • Creation of templates and preparation of quality management records
  • Starting and monitoring approval workflows for documents

Great if you bring the following

  • Ongoing studies in a technical field, e.g., mechanical engineering, design engineering or similar
