Join Apple's Wireless Technologies and Ecosystems organization as a Performance Engineer. You will optimize software design for products like Apple Watch, AirPods, iPhone, iPad, and Mac. This role involves working on software design, testing, and optimization from early prototypes to productization, devising performance evaluation methodologies, analyzing logs, and making software implementation recommendations based on system and product-level trade-off analysis.

Must Have:
- Strong understanding in one of Wi-Fi, Bluetooth, Thread, or related protocols
- Background or research experience in RF, Digital, and Wireless communications
- Experience working with wireless sniffers and protocol analyzers to debug and root cause issues
- Experienced with Python for testing, data analysis, and visualization
- Knowledge of TCP/IP protocol suite
- Bachelors Degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or equivalent experience

Our group is looking for a highly motivated Performance Engineer to optimize software design for Apple’s latest products, including the next generation of Apple Watch, AirPods, iPhone, iPad, and Mac etc.
As a key member of Connectivity Firmware Performance team you will work on software design, testing and optimization from early prototypes until productization! The work involves devising performance evaluation methodologies on SW/HW prototypes, analyzing logs, and making recommendations for implementing in software based on trade-off analysis at a system & product level.
- You have a strong understanding in one of Wi-Fi, Bluetooth, Thread, or related protocols
- You have a background or research experience in RF, Digital, and Wireless communications
- You have experience working with wireless sniffers and protocol analyzers to debug and root cause issues
- You're experienced with Python for testing, data analysis, and visualization
