The 2D Artist will be responsible for developing high quality artwork and production quality game assets for Disney Emoji Blitz. This unique position requires a creative, talented and motivated individual to collaborate with multiple disciplines to help create content for the hit game Disney Emoji Blitz!

This person will create vector assets that help communicate gameplay and continue to grow the Disney Emoji franchise. They will also work directly with other disciplines to ensure their artwork is consistent with the Emoji Blitz visual brand, correctly represented in the game, and optimized for performance. The ideal candidate is a creative, talented individual familiar with creating stylized artwork with vector graphic programs who is motivated to learn and contribute.

Responsabilities:

Create concepts and finalize the vector assets for characters, FX particles, and props that meet the standards of the brand style guide
Export and implement assets into the game in an optimized manner consistent with the existing production pipeline
Collaborate with the internal art, animation, and design disciplines to ensure all assets are meeting the designed visual and behavioral expectations in-game
Ensure the accurate implementation of assets across multiple devicesParticipate in visual critiques and brainstorms
Research industry standards and develop new techniques and workflows

Qualifications

2-5 years of production experience on mobile games
Experience with Adobe Illustrator and Adobe Photoshop
Solid understanding of art and visual design principles
Attention to detail and an ability to solve creative problems
Team player who understands the value of regular and effective communication
Experience with or affinity for Disney/PixarPassion for video games
A portfolio of work required
