Job Description

The Robert Bosch Hospital is a central care hospital with maximum care functions at three locations, supported by the Robert Bosch Foundation. It serves up to 40,000 inpatients annually with over 3,000 employees across 17 departments. The City location focuses on holistic geriatric patient care, from acute to early and continuing rehabilitation, with treatment durations of two to five weeks. The role involves coordinating the nursing process for highly complex geriatric patients, taking on extended nursing tasks in direct patient care, and contributing to quality assurance and interprofessional collaboration. The position is designed for academically qualified nursing professionals to apply their knowledge in practice and develop individually.

The Robert Bosch Hospital is a central care hospital supported by the Robert Bosch Foundation, with maximum care functions at three locations. With 1,041 beds, the RBK, its Charlottenhaus Clinic and RBK Lung Center Stuttgart (Schillerhöhe Clinic) locations, and the Clinic for Geriatric Rehabilitation admit up to 40,000 inpatients annually. The hospital operation, with over 3,000 employees, includes 17 specialist departments in various medical centers, an education center, and research institutes. This structure offers diverse development opportunities for employees.

Our City location is characterized by a special family atmosphere: In the Geriatrics department, we work closely and continuously in an interdisciplinary team. The focus is on the holistic care of geriatric patients – from acute geriatrics to early rehabilitation and continuing rehabilitation. Thanks to the longer treatment duration of two to five weeks, we intensively accompany our patients on their recovery path and combine preventive, curative, rehabilitative, and palliative approaches.

Job Description

  • Coordination of the nursing process for highly complex, geriatric patients
  • Assumption of extended nursing tasks in direct patient care
  • Expanded scope of duties and responsibilities in indirect care
  • Method-supported quality and nursing process assurance
  • Interprofessional collaboration and interface management
  • Implementation of central guidelines from nursing management as well as policies and legal regulations, for the benefit of a continuous improvement process
  • Application of Evidence-Based Nursing

The fundamental task is to apply your academic competencies in direct patient care. For this purpose, the RBK has defined an expanded scope of duties and responsibilities with extended nursing tasks. Here you can contribute your acquired university competencies. Through your actions in the team, you achieve a sustainable positive effect on the organization of the ward. To support you in the diverse tasks of the AQP, you will regularly exchange ideas with other AQPs and with the staff unit for knowledge and innovation management of the nursing directorate. Qualifications

  • Training in health and nursing care and a completed bachelor's degree or a completed primary qualifying degree program
  • Participation in the internal modularized support and trainee program of the Robert Bosch Hospital
  • Enjoyment in shaping needs-based care, especially for highly complex patients
  • Openness to IT solutions and digital documentation systems
  • Economic and responsible thinking and acting in line with the overarching corporate goals
