Job Description

The Account Director at realworld one will collaborate with key customers in the Life Sciences sector (Pharmaceuticals or Life Sciences Instruments/Tools) to solve operational challenges using XR solutions. Responsibilities include acting as a primary point of contact for senior stakeholders, developing strategic account plans, partnering with internal teams for solution implementation, mentoring Strategic Account Managers, and providing market insights to shape company strategy. The ideal candidate will have an advanced degree (MBA preferred), 5+ years of post-graduate experience, preferably in consulting, and deep Life Sciences expertise. Success requires exceptional analytical and strategic skills, the ability to manage complex projects, and a growth-oriented mindset.

As Account Director at realworld one, you will collaborate with key customers to address crucial challenges in their operations and service organizations through the use ofcutting-edge XR solutions.By acting as a trusted advisor, you will work withsenior decision makers at the Director and VP levels to co-develop strategies tailored to their unique business objectives and oversee the implementation of impactful solutions. Reporting directly to either the VP Pharma or VP Life Sciences Instruments, you will oversee strategic accounts, build lasting partnerships, and deliver measurable value.

Responsibilities

    • Act as the primary point of contact for senior stakeholders, including Directors and VPs within key customers, building and maintaining trusted relationships that drive long-term collaboration. 
    • Develop and execute comprehensive strategic account plans to identify growth opportunities, drive transformation, and generate value by solving crucial customer challenges, consistently exceeding customer expectations with our XR solutions. 
    • Partner with internal teams—including solution design, production, and implementation—to ensure the successful delivery and implementation of transformative solutions that create measurable impact. 
    • Provide mentorship and guidance to (Senior) Strategic Account Managers, fostering their professional growth and ensuring consistent, high-impact outcomes. 
    • Conduct in-depth analyses of customer feedback and market trends to provide actionable insights that shaperealworld one’s company strategy and product roadmap, enabling continuous innovation and value creation. 

Qualifications

    • Advanced degree, preferably an MBA or a master’s degree in a relevant field. 
    • 5+ years of post-graduate work experience, with a demonstrated history of professional achievement and business impact. 
    • Experience in the consulting industry, preferably at a tier-one consulting firm 
    • Exceptional analytical and strategic thinking skills, with a proven ability to oversee and deliver complex projects to successful outcomes. 
    • Deep expertise in the Life Sciences sector, with a focus on Pharmaceuticals or Life Sciences Instruments/Tools; experience in operations or service operations is a significant advantage. 
    • A growth-oriented mindset with a strong drive for continuous learning and improvement.
