Job Description

The Account Executive at Zenith will be responsible for performing media buying activities across all mediums, providing accurate reporting and buying services to the team and clients. This role involves implementing and tracking campaigns, ensuring timely delivery of insightful final buys, and managing daily holdings and material. The successful candidate will assist managers in planning, maintain budgets, and deliver competitive rates. They will also provide market insights, conduct various reports, and ensure accurate data entry. The role requires 1-2 years of industry experience, knowledge of investment processes, audience trends, and media contracts, along with strong attention to detail and process management skills.
Must have:
  • Perform media buying activities and provide accurate reporting and buying services
  • Implement and track campaign activations to meet planned objectives
  • Deliver timely and insightful final buy reports, highlighting deliveries and added value
  • Influence daily holdings checking, material management, and POPs
  • Assist Investment, Account, and Digital Account Managers in planning and portfolio management
  • Attend all internal briefings and ensure accurate buying/implementation of campaign strategies
  • Ensure booking confirmations are checked within 2 days and bookings loaded in BCC correctly within 1 day
  • Assist in filling out monthly Added Value reports by medium on a quarterly basis
  • Maintain buys within set budgets and deliver highly competitive rates across all media
  • Provide clients with the latest market insight relevant to their business regularly
  • Assist Investment Director with monthly reports including TV strike rates, Digital tracking, CPM/CPT tracking, Added Value, and Savings
  • Ensure accurate and timely data entry of campaigns using correct rate cards, surveys, and Pos
  • Conduct all tracking reports and work with Investment Manager to continually improve campaigns
  • Organize all weekly tracking reports across all effective media channels
  • Monitor campaigns to ensure delivery against planned objectives and discuss next steps with the team
  • Ensure TV post is matched correctly and spots are flagged correctly
  • Assist in negotiation of make goods, compensation, and shortfalls across all media channels
  • Apply learnings from previous campaigns in all relevant reports
  • Assist Investment Manager in conducting monthly competitive reports and Investment Director in annual competitive reviews
  • Accountable for reporting accuracy and timely delivery of reporting
  • Demonstrate a solid knowledge of audience trends across all media channels
  • Demonstrate knowledge for all relevant systems including BCC, eTAM, TARDIIS, MOVE, Asteroid, Microsoft Office & Nielsen Answers
  • Knowledgeable in investment process and tools and buying fundamentals
  • Possess 1-2 years of industry experience
  • Complete knowledge and comprehension of client media contracts and implement all aspects correctly
  • Ensure all tasks are completed in an accurate, timely, and professional fashion
  • Professionally represent the agency at all times
  • Exhibit high level of attention to detail, accuracy, and ability to detect and address issues
  • Prioritize and maintain tasks/time efficiently
  • Use strong people experience to address problems and deliver outcomes
  • Demonstrate strong process management experience and perseverance with resolving ongoing issues
  • Utilize experienced Excel techniques and maintain time efficiently

Overview

The transformation you will experience:

Perform media buying activities across all mediums and provide accurate reporting and buying services to the team and clients.

Your scope will include:

  • Implement the activation of campaigns as per the internal implementation plan in order to meet planned objectives
  • Ensure campaigns are tracked and optimised and media post analysis is completed weekly
  • Delivering a timely and insightful final buy - highlighting buying deliveries, added value and any issues which may impact campaign delivery
  • Influence the delivery of daily holdings checking, material management, POPs etc.
  • Assist Investment Manager / Account Manager / Digital Account Manager in all planning by sourcing relevant information when asked
  • Assist Account Manager / Investment Manager / Digital Account Manager in divisional portfolio management across client - internally
  • Attend all internal briefings
  • Accountable for accurate buying / implementation of campaign objectives and buying strategy
  • Accountable that all booking confirmations have been checked within 2 days of booking
  • Accountable that all bookings are loaded in BCC correctly within 1 day of booking
  • Assist Investment Manager in filling out monthly Added Value reports by medium on a quarterly basis
  • Accountable for maintaining buys within set budgets
  • Deliver highly competitive rates across all media outside of primary media deals (speak to Investment Director for benchmarks)
  • Provide client with latest market insight relevant to their business on a regular basis
  • Assist Investment Director with monthly reports including TV strike rates, Digital tracking, CPM/CPT tracking, Added Value, Savings and any other reports requested
  • Ensuring accurate and timely data entry of campaigns using correct rate cards, surveys, Pos
  • Conduct all tracking reports and take Investment Manager / Digital Account Manager through findings
  • Work with Investment Manager to assess how to continually improve campaigns to deliver on set goals and KPIs
  • Organise all weekly tracking reports across all effective media channels
