Job Summary

The Account Executive, Commercial at Veeam is responsible for developing and closing business with corporate customers by collaborating with partner sales. Key activities include identifying, developing, accelerating, up-selling, and closing transactions, as well as cold calling new mid-market and high-segment end users. The role also involves forecasting in Salesforce and participating in marketing activities within the assigned territory.

Must Have

  • Direct, new business sales experience
  • Experience selling through channel and direct
  • Track record of accomplishment selling to IT infrastructure specialists
  • Proven ability to develop new sales
  • Business proficient German language skills
  • Business proficient English language skills
  • Current full driving license
  • Comfortable travelling for at least 50% of the time

About the Role

The Account Executive, Commercial will be responsible for developing/closing business indirectly with a number of corporate customers in their assigned market through working with the partner sales community. The primary focus is aimed at closing sales opportunities and is achieved by collaborating with partners to identify, develop, accelerate, up-sell and close transactions.

What You'll Do

  • Develop and close business with defined accounts
  • Leverage partners to close sales with their end customers
  • Cold calls to develop sales activities with a large number of new mid-market and high-segment end users
  • Up-sell and cross-sell to the existing customer base
  • Forecasts and account/opportunity details in Salesforce
  • Propose, coordinate and participate to marketing activities in the defined territory
