Position Overview:
The Account Executive at Domo Japan plays a crucial role in driving our growth and market expansion. This position is an ideal opportunity for professionals who enjoy leveraging their sales experience to help large Japanese companies (annual revenue over 100 billion yen) make better decisions, contributing to their business growth.
Responsibilities:
- Effectively communicate with a wide range of stakeholders, including managers and C-level executives, to propose the value of Domo products and platform, and drive expansion in the Japanese market.
- Deeply understand new customer business challenges and strategically pursue the maximum value that Domo solutions can bring.
- Collaborate with solution consultants to promote Proof of Concept (PoC) and enable new customers to experience the value of implementation.
- Manage the entire sales process from lead generation to contract closing, starting from leads received from the ADM (Account Development Manager) team.
- Create proposals and sales materials tailored to customer needs, and appropriately manage the pipeline to achieve quarterly and annual sales targets.
- Proactively manage the entire sales cycle, from prospecting to closing.
- Collaborate with internal and external departments to maximize deal opportunities and improve customer satisfaction.
- Actively use market trends and customer feedback to continuously improve proposals and sales strategies.
Background and Qualities for Success in this Position:
- Strong motivation and interest in actively impacting corporate transformation and growth through data utilization.
- Excellent business acumen and communication skills to respond accurately and flexibly to changes and ambiguities.
- Sales experience in the SaaS/software domain, with experience managing the sales process consistently from lead generation to contract closing (current or previous role).
- Ability to leverage effective communication to challenge and create new revenue opportunities beyond existing networks.
- Possessing a high growth mindset and a "never give up" mentality.
