Job Description

This Account Executive role at Google focuses on mid-market sales within the Google Customer Solutions team. Responsibilities include delivering against ambitious growth goals, owning a portfolio of medium and large businesses, understanding growth drivers, identifying opportunities, managing risks, and building multi-quarter plans. The role involves pitching and consulting with clients, driving customer growth by achieving business and marketing objectives, establishing credibility with executives, and optimizing advertising investments. Fluency in Swedish and English is essential for supporting client relationships in the region. The ideal candidate will have experience in digital advertising campaigns, online marketing strategy, and a proven track record of exceeding sales quotas.

Job Details

Minimum qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent practical experience.
  • 5 years of experience in sales, media sales, account management, marketing or consulting.
  • Ability to communicate in Swedish and English fluently to support client relationships in the region.

Preferred qualifications:

  • Experience strategically assessing and achieving client success via sales techniques, including effective questioning, objection handling and promoting.
  • Experience in managing digital advertising campaigns with a focus on performance marketing.
  • Knowledge of online marketing strategy and tactics.
  • Demonstrated ability to own a portfolio in an advertising or media sales context in Sweden, and consistently overachieve quotas to drive growth.
  • Demonstrated ability to build compelling narratives and utilize storytelling as a client engagement strategy.
  • Demonstrated thought leadership and high executive functioning within the digital marketing space.

Responsibilities

  • Deliver against ambitious quarterly business growth and product growth goals.
  • Own a portfolio of medium and large size businesses by thoroughly understanding growth drivers, identifying opportunities for growth, managing risks and building multi-quarter plans for achievement.
  • Pitch and consult with customers proactively to support annual digital marketing discussions and budgets.
  • Drive customer growth by achieving customer business and marketing objectives.
  • Establish credibility with executives and serve as a trusted partner to optimize and expand their advertising investment.
