Job Description

Point S, Distribution Stox, and RSSW are leading Canadian tire and wheel distributors, aiming for efficiency and performance. We are seeking an Account Manager for mechanical workshops to develop and implement business strategies, manage sales activities, and build long-term client relationships. The role involves identifying territory potential, reporting on sales, leading contract negotiations, and maintaining CRM records. The ideal candidate will advise clients on products and stay updated on industry knowledge.
Must have:
  • Develop and implement business development strategies in line with company objectives and expansion plans.
  • Establish an action plan to identify the full potential of their territory.
  • Monitor their action plan and regularly report on ongoing sales activities and account issues.
  • Manage activities in their territory to achieve the company's sales objectives.
  • Assume leadership of the entire account development process, from identifying decision-makers to obtaining or renewing major contracts.
  • Maintain a rigorous management and follow-up process for account development activities using a CRM.
  • Actively participate in corporate events involving your own territory.
  • Advise and guide clients and prospects on the different product brands offered by the company in line with your objectives.
  • Present and ensure understanding of the various tire purchase programs as well as those of manufacturers.
  • Keep up-to-date with knowledge in the tire industry.
  • Conduct competitive market analyses and share research with the team.
  • Build long-term relationships with various tire representatives and manufacturers.

We are looking for an Account Manager for mechanical workshops.

Qualifications

  • Minimum of 5 years of sales experience.
  • Field sales experience (essential).
  • Demonstrated expertise in strategic sales and win-win negotiations for long-term partnership development.
  • Ability to develop and maintain business relationships at all levels of the organization, including the executive level of potential and existing clients.
  • Strong leadership.
  • Good communicator, team player.
  • Business acumen and results-oriented.
  • Good listening skills and customer service orientation.
  • Rigor in identifying good opportunities and following up on files.
  • Ability to manage multiple files simultaneously.
  • Bilingualism (intermediate French/English level) is an asset due to the organization's national activities and the need for effective communication between different regions.
  • Comfort with technologies: MS Office, CRM.
