Job Description

Businesses partnering with Google vary greatly, requiring tailored advertising solutions. This Account Strategist role leverages your online media knowledge, communication skills, and analytical abilities to help businesses grow. You'll provide exceptional client service, conduct market research, and anticipate client needs. You will develop strategies to reach thousands of users through Google Ads, setting the vision for their advertising. Responsibilities include meeting revenue and growth targets, building client relationships, advising on Google Ads ROI, owning a portfolio of small businesses, driving customer growth, and achieving customer business and marketing objectives. Fluency in Swedish and English is essential for supporting client relationships in Sweden.

Minimum qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent practical experience.
  • 2 years of experience in advertising, consultative sales, business development, online media environment, or marketing role.
  • Ability to communicate in Swedish and English fluently to support client relationships in the region.


Preferred qualifications:

  • Familiarity with Google Ads and online advertising, with Google Digital Workshop certification or equivalent experience.
  • Demonstrated ability to own a portfolio in an advertising or media sales context in Sweden and consistently overachieve quotas to drive growth.
  • Demonstrated ability to build compelling narratives and utilize storytelling as a client engagement strategy.
  • Demonstrated ability to influence stakeholders internally and externally to deliver impact.
  • Demonstrated ability to multi-task and manage multiple projects at a time while paying attention to detail.

Responsibilities

  • Deliver against ambitious quarterly revenue and product growth targets.
  • Establish relationships via phone calls or e-mail marketing and conduct regular phone consultations and sales pitches with clients to advise them on how to get the best return on their Google Ads investment.
  • Own a portfolio of small businesses by thoroughly understanding growth drivers identifying opportunities for growth, managing risks and building quarterly plans for achievement.
  • Drive customer growth by delivering outstanding customer sales experience and achieving customer business and marketing objectives.
