.What will you do everyday?
As a Bookkeeper in the Accounting team, you will:
- Be responsible for accounts payable/receivable processes, cash transactions and reconciliations, and a variety of financial and administrative tasks to ensure accurate financial record-keeping and support the company’s growth.
- This role requires strong accounting knowledge and attention to detail.
- As a member of the accounting team, you will work closely with the Finance Team and interact with other employees, such as the Sales/Customer Success and HR teams.
Key Responsibilities:
- Financial Record Maintenance: Record day-to-day financial transactions (e.g., purchases, sales, receipts, and payments), maintain accurate general ledger entries, reconcile bank and credit card statements monthly. Reconcile all cash transactions, such as expenses from Expensify, credit card charges, post transactions for stock option exercised, etc.
- Own Accounts Payable & Receivable Processes: Manage invoices, ensure timely billing and collection from clients, process vendor bills and ensure timely payments, track outstanding accounts, follow up on overdue invoices.
- Systems & Process Management: Use accounting software (e.g., QuickBooks) that integrate with tools like Stripe, Expensify, and Bill.com.

Requirements
- Experience: Start-up experience preferred, comfortable navigating/working in a fast-paced. environment
- Technical Expertise: Strong understanding of accounting basics and experience with accounting tools such as Bill.com, Stripe, Expensify, Quickbooks, and Chargebee.
- Communication Skills: Exceptional verbal and written communication skills.
- Education: Bachelor’s degree preferred.

In compliance with the State of California Pay Transparency Law, the base salary range for this role is between $85,000 - $95,000 in CA. This range is not inclusive of any discretionary bonus or equity package. When determining a candidate’s compensation, we consider a number of factors including skillset, experience, job scope, and current market data.
