This role is for an experienced Accounting and Tax Specialist at Haufe Group in Freiburg im Breisgau. You will leverage your extensive background in accounting and taxation to actively contribute to the development and improvement of our accounting software. As part of the Development team, you will analyze financial and tax requirements, define implementation specifications, and serve as a key contact for balance sheet and annual financial statement queries. The position involves diverse tasks in areas like GoBD, e-balance sheets, online banking, and e-invoicing, requiring continuous collaboration with various teams and stakeholders.
Must have:
  • Actively drive the further development of our accounting software.
  • Identify and analyze balance sheet and tax requirements and derive necessary adjustments for customers.
  • Define clear specifications for customer-friendly and comprehensive implementation of legal requirements.
  • Be a competent contact person for team colleagues regarding balance sheets and annual financial statements.
  • Expect varied activities in areas like GoBD, e-balance sheet, online banking, and e-invoicing.
  • Continuously exchange with Product Owner, stakeholders, and customer support, working across teams.
Good to have:
  • Experience as a Requirements Engineer or Business Analyst with a good understanding of these areas of activity.

  • As part of our Development team, you actively drive the further development of our accounting software
  • You identify and analyze balance sheet and tax requirements and derive necessary adjustments for our customers
  • You define clear specifications for a customer-friendly and comprehensive implementation of these legal requirements
  • You are a competent contact person for your team colleagues for all questions regarding balance sheets and annual financial statements
  • You can expect varied activities in areas such as GoBD, e-balance sheet, online banking, and e-invoicing
  • You are in continuous exchange with the Product Owner, stakeholders, and customer support and also work across team boundaries on common solutions

Qualifications

  • You have completed training as a tax assistant or (balance sheet) accountant or bring comparable knowledge and skills as well as professional experience in this activity
  • You are familiar with the HGB, UStG, and EStG and are able to prepare the legal texts in an generally understandable way
  • Ideally, you have already gained experience as a Requirements Engineer or Business Analyst and have a good understanding of these areas of activity
  • You are characterized by initiative, team spirit, and an independent and flexible way of working
  • You have very good German (at least C1) and good English skills, so that you can communicate in our English-German speaking teams
