We are seeking an ADAS Data Engineer to devise, develop, and maintain Autonomous Driving data processing pipelines on AWS cloud, Kubernetes, and on-prem servers. This role involves cleaning, processing, storing, and dashboarding data from vehicle sensors, optimizing data solutions, and collaborating with cross-domain teams to create software solutions.
Must Have
- Devise, develop, and maintain ADAS data processing pipelines on AWS, Kubernetes, and on-prem.
- Cleanup, process, store, and dashboard structured/unstructured data from vehicle sensors.
- Optimize data storage, search, and processing with big data frameworks.
- Work with cross-domain teams to create/modify software solutions.
- Architect and deliver software solutions from technical requirements.
- Proficiency in Python and/or Golang.
- Experience with Relational databases, specifically PostgreSQL.
- Professional experience with AWS cloud and Kubernetes deployments.
- Experience developing multi-core software, containerized apps, and microservices.
Good to Have
- Strong sense of ownership and proactive initiatives.
- Experience building efficient, scalable distributed systems for large data volumes.
- Past experience in Autonomous Driving industry, backend and cloud development.

Responsibilities
- Devise, develop, and maintain Autonomous Driving data processing pipelines on the AWS cloud, Kubernetes clusters, and on-prem servers.
- Cleanup, parse, process, store, and dashboard both structured and unstructured data recorded from on-board vehicle sensors (e.g. Cameras, LiDARs, RADARs, GPS, and many others recording timeseries data).
- Help us optimize the data storage, search and data processing based on a diverse mix of storage solutions, caching techniques, and big data frameworks.
- Work with multiple cross-domain teams (e.g. Data Collection, Machine Learning, testing engineers, 3rd party data-annotation vendors etc.). Create or modify software solutions that fit their needs.
Required Qualifications
- Ability to architect and deliver the software solutions from loosely described technical and non-technical requirements.
- Proficiency in Python and/or Golang.
- Experience working with Relational databases. We use PostgreSQL.
- Professional experience with AWS cloud and deploying applications to Kubernetes cluster.
- Experience with developing multi-core software, containerized applications, and backend microservices.
Preferred Qualifications
- Strong sense of ownership and proactive initiatives to address tasks and challenges without waiting for explicit direction.
- Experience in building efficient and scalable distributed systems capable of handling many terabytes of data per day.
- Past experience in the Autonomous Driving industry, specifically backend and cloud development.

Salary Range
The compensation range for this position is specific to the locations listed below and is the range Lucid reasonably and in good faith expects to pay for the position taking into account the wide variety of factors that are considered in making compensation decisions, including job-related knowledge; skillset; experience, education and training; certifications; and other relevant business and organizational factors.
