Guardian Life is seeking an Advisor Transitions Specialist to be a critical part of a team supporting firm growth. The role involves managing the complex process of transitioning wealth management advisors, collaborating across teams for a seamless transition experience, and supporting account opening and client investment account transfers. Responsibilities include communicating with agency and home office personnel, addressing transition inquiries, advocating for and training colleagues and financial advisors, performing tracking and data analytics, supporting quality assurance, and handling operational tasks for new accounts and maintenance within various platforms. The role also entails leading or collaborating on department projects and recruitment strategy.
Must have:
  • 3-5 years of broker-dealer operations or service experience
  • Ability to create strong working relationships
  • Strong knowledge of Microsoft Office
  • Deep understanding of account opening and transfers
  • Strong technology aptitude
  • Excellent leadership and analytical skills
  • Strong desire to help resolve complex issues
  • Ability to manage multiple processes simultaneously
Good to have:
  • Knowledge of Pershing NetX360, Envestnet, Charles Schwab, and Fidelity Wealthscape
  • Series 6 or 7 and 63, 65, or 66 preferred

Guardian life is seeking an Advisor Transitions Specialist who will be a critical part of a team that supports the growth of our firm.

  • An effective communicator with the ability to tailor the conversation to your audience

  • Experienced with direct transfer agents and custodians

You will

  • Manage all aspects of the complex process of transitioning a wealth management advisor 

  • Collaborate across teams to deliver seamless and world class transition support experience

  • Support the account opening and transfer of client investment accounts

  • Actively communicate with general agency and home office personnel

  • Field inquiries related to transition and broker dealer acclimation 

  • Advocate for & teach colleagues, agency partners, and financial advisors

  • Perform comprehensive tracking and data analytics

  • Support Quality Assurance program by reviewing processed items, reporting outcome and training according to documented procedures

  • Support operational tasks related to New Accounts and Maintenance items within several platforms

  • Effectively lead and/or collaborate on department projects and ongoing recruitment strategy

You have

  • 3-5 years of broker-dealer operations or service experience

  • Strong knowledge of Microsoft Office

  • Deep understanding of account opening and transfers

  • Excellent leadership and analytical skills

Salary Range:

$57,810.00 - $86,715.00

The salary range reflected above is a good faith estimate of base pay for the primary location of the position. The salary for this position ultimately will be determined based on the education, experience, knowledge, and abilities of the successful candidate. In addition to salary, this role may also be eligible for annual, sales, or other incentive compensation.
