As an AE 2100 Field Service Representative supporting the C130 propulsion system, you will provide support to the Customer by establishing and maintaining a close liaison with relevant sections of the Customer’s organization, Rolls-Royce Customer Support, Engineering and Program Management. This position will commence supporting the United States Coast Guard in Kodiak, AK. You will also develop and conduct supplemental training, support program responsibilities, travel for campaigns or AOG situations, backfill other FSRs, comply with relocation requirements, and provide technical support during conferences and reviews.
Must have:
  • An Associate’s degree with 4+ years of Aviation/Propulsion Maintenance experience OR a Bachelor’s degree with 2+ years OR a Master’s/Ph.D. degree with 0 years OR 6+ years of Aviation Maintenance/Propulsion experience in lieu of a degree
  • Five years of experience with the AE2100 D2 or D3
  • Must be a U.S. Citizen

Job Details

As an AE 2100 Field Service Representative supporting the C130 propulsion system, you will provide support to the Customer by establishing and maintaining a close liaison with relevant sections of the Customer’s organization, Rolls-Royce Customer Support, Engineering and Program Management. This position will commence supporting the United States Coast Guard.

What you will be doing

In this interesting role, you’ll work on the following:

  • In collaboration with Customer Training Services, develop and conduct supplemental training to maintenance activities through on-the-job training and classroom instruction as appropriate.
  • Support Manager(s) in executing AE 2100 Program and Deployed Services responsibilities, supporting and utilizing Rolls-Royce and Customer Maintenance Information Systems, and diagnostic software programs to respond to technical and operational queries.
  • Travel on short notice domestically or internationally in support of campaigns, AOG situations and/or Customer requests for extended periods of one month or more.
  • Backfill other Field Service Representatives in the event of absences, temporary duty away from home station,
  • Comply with any requirement to relocate assignment as determined by the business and/or the Customer to ensure Rolls-Royce business objectives and contract deliverables are met and Customer operational needs are supported.
  • Provide technical support during conferences and program reviews, etc. at the request of Rolls-Royce and/or the customer and support requirements such as site visits, engine operation, maintenance, safety briefs, field training, accident investigations, in-flight test evaluations and direct requests on short notice.

This role requires that the selected candidate be on-site with the USCG Customer at USCG Station Kodiak, AK.

Basic Qualifications:

  • An Associate’s degree with 4+ years of Aviation/Propulsion Maintenance experience
  • A Bachelor’s degree with 2+ years of Aviation/Propulsion Maintenance experience
  • A Masters degree with 0 years of Aviation Maintenance/Propulsion experience
  • A Ph.D. degree with 0 years of Aviation Maintenance/Propulsion experience
  • 6+ years of Aviation Maintenance/Propulsion experience in lieu of a degree
  • Five years of experience with the AE2100 D2 or D3
  • In order to be considered for this opportunity, you must be a U.S. Citizen
