The Agrigenomic Sales Specialist will drive sales growth and expand market presence for Agrigenomic products and services in Türkiye and the CIS region. This role requires a deep understanding of agricultural genomics, strong commercial acumen, and the ability to build strategic relationships. The specialist will support channel partners, farmers, agribusinesses, and research institutions by providing innovative genomic solutions, developing regional sales strategies, and monitoring market trends. They will present the value of Agrigenomic solutions and ensure customer satisfaction.
Must Have

- Ability to travel extensively within the region
- Fluency in English
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills

Agrigenomics Sales Specialist
Turkey - Remote
Illumina has a fantastic new opportunity for a Agrigenomic Sales Specialist to join our team in Turkey.
The Agrigenomic Sales Specialist will be responsible for driving sales growth and expanding market presence for Agrigenomic products and services in Türkiye and the Commonwealth of Independent States (CIS) region.
This role requires a deep understanding of agricultural genomics, strong commercial acumen, and the ability to build and maintain strategic relationships with key stakeholders.
The successful candidate will play a pivotal role in supporting channel partners, farmers, agribusinesses, and research institutions by providing innovative genomic solutions tailored to local needs.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and implement regional sales strategies to achieve revenue targets for Agrigenomic products and services.
- Identify, prospect, and engage potential clients, including agricultural enterprises, government agencies, and research organisations across Türkiye and the CIS region.
- Present and demonstrate the value of Agrigenomic solutions, including genetic testing, crop and livestock improvement, and data-driven decision support.
- Build and nurture long-term relationships with customers, distributors, and strategic partners.
- Monitor market trends, competitor activities, and regulatory developments in the region to inform sales strategies and product positioning.
- Collaborate with technical and support teams to ensure customer satisfaction and resolve any issues promptly.
- Participate in industry events, exhibitions, and conferences to promote the company's offerings and network with stakeholders.
- Provide regular sales forecasts, reports, and market intelligence to management.
- Ensure compliance with local laws, import/export regulations, and company policies.
Required Qualifications & Experience
- Bachelor’s degree (or higher) in Agronomy, Genetics, Biotechnology, Life Sciences, or a related field.
- Proven track record of sales success in the Agrigenomics, agricultural technology, or life sciences sector.
- Familiarity with the agricultural landscape, business practices, and regulatory environment in Türkiye and CIS countries.
- Excellent communication, presentation, and negotiation skills.
- Ability to travel extensively within the designated region.
- Fluency in English; proficiency in Turkish and/or Russian is highly desirable.
- Strong analytical skills and problem-solving abilities.
