The Accessories team provides the wireless foundation for Apple’s innovative products such as AirPods and AirTags and is looking for a motivated engineer to design and implement amazing new features across the Apple ecosystem.
Bring surprise and delight to our customers in this embedded software role that forms the pillar of AirPods, AirTags and other accessories. You will be challenged with unique problems in building and developing software solutions for the current and next generation of AirPods and other accessories.
- Design and develop features for next generation of AirPods, AirTags and other accessories
- Collaborate with highly technical cross functional teams
- Work closely with quality and performance teams to deliver a highly optimized and magical experience to our users
- Maintain the highest software quality standards by triaging and resolving bugs and creating automated frameworks for logging, telemetry and unit tests
- You have solid C/C++ coding abilities; Python experience is a plus
- You have proven excellence in firmware, device driver, or equivalent for experienced candidates
- You have strong analytical and software debugging skills
- You have a passion for product ownership and track record of product development
- You thrive in collaborative environment with excellent written and verbal communication skills
- You have a Bachelors Degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or equivalent experience
- You have knowledge of real-time audio or wireless technologies
- You demonstrated familiarity with real-time audio (sample rates, buffering, codecs, clocking, I2S, PCM, drivers)
