Job Summary

TTTech Auto, part of NXP, is seeking a Software Developer/Engineer to accelerate the shift to safe, software-defined vehicles. The role involves developing embedded software components in C/C++ for automated driving and vehicle dynamics, working on safety-critical real-time systems, and participating in the full software lifecycle within an AGILE SAFe framework. The engineer will contribute to specification, design, development, testing, and integration of advanced embedded software, supporting in-car integration and collaborating with project managers and team members.

Must Have

  • Develop embedded software components in C/C++
  • Work on projects in automated driving and vehicle dynamics
  • Participate in development of safety critical real time systems
  • Work along the whole software lifecycle in AGILE SAFe framework
  • Participate in specification, design, development, testing and integration of embedded software
  • Support in-car software and system integration
  • Maintain close relationship with Project Manager, customer and team
  • Share and broaden knowledge and experiences within your team
  • Academic education in computer technology related fields (BSc or MSc degree)
  • Minimum 3 years practical experience in embedded software development in C and/or C++
  • Understanding of principles of operating systems
  • Understanding of development of multithreaded and multicore applications
  • Good understanding of debugging techniques
  • Good understanding of source control systems like GIT or SVN
  • Good command of English

  • Ability to read and understand circuit diagrams
  • Ability to identify control signals and processors inputs
  • German language skills

We are looking for a Software developer/engineer to join the mission of accelerating the transformation of the automotive industry toward safe software-defined.

Your Tasks

  • Development of appropriate embedded software components for our products and customers in C/C++ programming language
  • Working on projects within the areas of automated driving and vehicle dynamics
  • Participation in development of safety critical real time systems based on high-end SoCs, microcontrollers, communication interfaces and state-of-the-art operating systems including Linux
  • Learning about and working along the whole software lifecycle embedded in a large scale AGILE framework SAFe
  • Participation in specification, design, development, testing and integration of highly advanced embedded software
  • Support of in-car software and system integration, in-house and with our customers
  • Maintaining close relationship with your Project Manager, customer and team colleagues
  • Sharing and broadening your knowledge and experiences within your team, providing guidance for software projects and creating new ideas together

Your Profile

  • Academic education in computer technology related fields of study (BSc or MSc degree)
  • Minimum 3 years of substantial practical experience in embedded software development in C and/or C++
  • Understanding of principles of operating systems, development of multithreaded and multicore applications
  • Ability to read and understand circuit diagrams, to identify control signals and processors inputs is a plus
  • Good understanding of debugging techniques
  • Good understanding of source control systems like GIT or SVN
  • Structured and precise style of working
  • Motivated and committed team player with a curiosity for innovation
  • Flexibility and solution-oriented working style are among your strengths
  • Good command of English is a must, in addition, German is preferable
