NXP is seeking an HR Payroll & Operations Specialist for a full-time, permanent position in Gratkorn, Austria. The role involves independent preparation and follow-up of monthly payroll, maintaining HR data, creating contracts, managing work permits, generating HR reports, and supporting employees and managers. The ideal candidate will have initial experience in payroll or HR service, knowledge of HR systems like Workday, strong labor law understanding, excellent German and English skills, and proficiency in MS-Office, especially Excel. The position offers benefits such as a home office option, flextime, and additional vacation days.

Must Have

  • Independent preparation and follow-up of monthly payroll
  • Maintenance and updating of payroll-relevant data in HR systems
  • Creation and processing of employment contracts and changes
  • Coordination and administration of work permit applications and updates
  • Creation of HR reports and evaluations, support for time recording system
  • Support for employees and managers on HR-relevant topics
  • Participation in the introduction and implementation of automation solutions in HR
  • Initial experience in payroll or a comparable HR service position
  • Very good knowledge of labor law and local regulations
  • Excellent German and confident English communication skills
  • Very good MS-Office skills, especially Excel

Your Responsibilities:

  • Independent preparation and follow-up of monthly payroll in cooperation with our external partner
  • Maintenance and updating of all payroll-relevant data in our HR systems
  • Creation and processing of employment contracts and contract changes
  • Coordination and administration of the application and updating of work permits
  • Creation of HR reports and evaluations as well as support for the time recording system
  • Support for employees and managers on HR-relevant topics
  • Participation in the introduction and implementation of automation solutions in the HR area

Your Profile:

  • Initial experience in payroll or in a comparable HR service position
  • Ideally, knowledge of Workday or comparable HR systems
  • Very good knowledge of labor law and understanding of local regulations
  • Excellent German language skills and confident communication in English (oral and written)
  • High accuracy and structured way of working with attention to detail
  • Very good MS-Office skills, especially Excel
  • Openness to new technologies and tools, especially in the area of Low-Code / No-Code
  • Willingness to develop further
