Job Description

The Analytics Implementation Specialist provides Data & IT technical support, training, troubleshooting, and project management for bioMérieux's Advanced Analytic Solutions. Key responsibilities include designing and deploying data visualization dashboards, driving analytics implementation and data collection automation, managing projects to meet customer expectations, troubleshooting scripting issues, and documenting all support tasks in CRM. The role also involves assisting with new system launches and contributing to revenue generation initiatives.
Must have:
  • Design, implement, and deploy data visualization dashboards for Advanced Analytics solutions.
  • Drive initiatives focused on analytics implementation and automation of data collection processes.
  • Drive and complete Advanced Analytics implementation projects.
  • Ability to troubleshoot scripting issues using available digital tools.
  • Manage internal and external customer inquiries per established guidelines.
  • Accurate and timely documentation in IT & Data Solutions tools.
  • Assist with launch/implementation of new systems.
  • Contribute to revenue generation initiatives through promotion of value-added projects and services.
  • Perform on-call duties as needed to provide 24-hour technical support.
  • Perform all work in compliance with company quality procedures and standards.
  • Bachelor’s degree in IT, health informatics, or related field, or equivalent experience.
  • 4 years of relevant experience in health informatics, IT, or relevant field with professional certifications (CompTIA or equivalent).
  • Minimum 4 years’ experience in support of LIS interfaces, servers, software applications, hardware, middleware, and computers.
  • Minimum 2 years’ experience as a Lab/Medical Technologist or equivalent experience.
  • Fluent in English with excellent communication, analytical, facilitation and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to work independently and multitask effectively in a fast-paced environment.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Windows and Office products.
  • Exhibit good interpersonal and diplomacy skills, excellent verbal, and written capabilities.
  • Exhibit good decision-making ability, including problem resolution.
  • Employ the expertise of others and provide expertise in a team environment.
  • Proven capabilities in managing data analytics implementation projects for healthcare organizations.
  • Understanding of health care administrative data.

Description

Position Summary

Provide Data & IT technical support, training, troubleshooting, and project management to internal and external customers for bioMérieux marketed Advanced Analytic Solutions.

Primary Duties

1. Design, implement, and deploy data visualization dashboards for the Advanced Analytics solutions marketed by bioMérieux.

2. Drive initiatives focused on analytics implementation and automation of data collection processes, working cross-functionally with support and sales teams.

3. Drive and complete Advanced Analytics implementation projects as defined by the project scope and timelines to meet customer expectations and organizational objectives.

4. Ability to troubleshoot scripting issues using the available digital tools and documenting all support and troubleshooting tasks in CRM in a timely manner.

5. Manage internal and external customer inquiries per established guidelines and documentation in CRM system.

6. Accurate and timely documentation in IT & Data Solutions tools, including but not limited to CRM for Cases and Work Orders Completed, and Project Management tool to update project status.

7. Assist with launch/implementation of new systems by learning new products, providing input to development of documentation, and troubleshooting procedures for all systems.

8. Contribute to revenue generation initiatives through promotion of value-added projects and services.

9. Perform on-call duties as needed to provide 24-hour technical support to customers.

10. Perform all work in compliance with company quality procedures and standards.

11. Performs other duties as assigned.

Training & Education

  • Bachelor’s degree in information technology, health informatics, public policy, public administration, public health, healthcare administration, statistics, a related technical field, or equivalent experience.
  • 4 years of relevant experience in health informatics, Information Technology, or relevant field with professional certifications (CompTIA or equivalent) will be accepted in lieu of a bachelor's degree

Experience

  • Minimum 4 years’ experience in support of LIS interfaces, servers, software applications, hardware, middleware, and computers required
  • Minimum 2 years’ experience as a Lab/Medical Technologist or equivalent experience (LIS Analyst or IT role within lab environment) required.
  • Experience in data visualization a plus.

Knowledge, Skills & Abilities

1. Must be fluent in English with excellent communication, analytical, facilitation and problem-solving skills.

2. Must be able to work independently, effectively multitask to meet deadlines and competing priorities in a fast-paced environment.

3. Proficiency in Microsoft Windows and Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook) products.

4. Exhibit good interpersonal and diplomacy skills, excellent verbal, and written capabilities through previous experiences such as teaching, sales, or management.

5. Exhibit good decision-making ability, including problem resolution.

6. Employs the expertise of others and provides expertise in a team environment.

7. Proven capabilities in managing data analytics implementation projects specifically for healthcare organizations.

8. Understanding of health care administrative data.
