Job Description

Binance is seeking an Android Engineer for its Accelerator Program. The role involves assisting the Android development team in designing, developing, and testing mobile applications. Responsibilities include writing maintainable code in Kotlin or Java, participating in requirement reviews, collaborating with UI/UX designers, troubleshooting bugs, optimizing app performance, applying Android development frameworks like Jetpack and MVVM, and writing technical documentation.

Good To Have:

Familiarity with Jetpack components
Experience using Firebase, Google Maps, or third-party SDKs
Experience with cross-platform development tools

Must Have:

Proficiency in Java or Kotlin
Foundational understanding of Android development
Familiarity with Android Studio
Understanding of RESTful APIs
Basic knowledge of Git
Strong learning ability
Collaborative team player
Currently enrolled in a relevant university program

Job Responsibilities:

Assist the Android development team in the design, development, and testing of mobile applications;
Write maintainable and high-performance code in Kotlin or Java;
Participate in product requirement reviews and provide feasible technical solutions;
Collaborate with UI/UX designers to deliver high-quality user interfaces and interactive experiences;
Troubleshoot and fix bugs, while continuously optimizing app performance;
Learn and apply mainstream Android development frameworks such as Android Jetpack, MVVM architecture, and Material Design;
Write technical documentation and support the release and deployment process.

Requirements:

Proficiency in Java or Kotlin with a foundational understanding of Android development;
Familiar with Android Studio and basic layout components such as Activity, Fragment, RecyclerView, etc.;
Understanding of RESTful APIs and network communication using libraries like Retrofit and OkHttp;
Basic knowledge of Git version control;
Strong learning ability and a collaborative team player;
Personal projects or GitHub contributions are a strong plus.
Currently enrolled in a university program, majoring in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Information Technology, or a related field.
