Job Summary

As an Application Support Engineer, you will act as a software detective, identifying and resolving issues in critical business systems. Key responsibilities include providing L2 Network Support and troubleshooting, adhering to defined processes like ISO 20000, ISO27001, BS25999, and working on shifts. You will need to have a good understanding of the network architecture, deliver results according to timelines, handle internal, external, and client audits, and contribute to the closure of findings.

Must Have

  • Strong technical knowledge of configuring and troubleshooting firewalls.
  • Strong technical knowledge of configuring and troubleshooting Switching and Routing.

Project Role : Application Support Engineer
Project Role Description : Act as software detectives, provide a dynamic service identifying and solving issues within multiple components of critical business systems.

Educational Qualification : 15 years full time education

Key Responsibilities -Provide L2 Network Support and troubleshooting -Deliver the result by adhered to the defined processes like ISO 20000, ISO27001, BS25999 -Flexibility towards working on shifts. -Good understand of the Network Architecture of the Organization and ability to deliver results as per the timelines. -Front End Internal, External, and client audits and work towards the closure of the findings. Technical Experience Mandatory ------------- -Strong technical knowledge on configuring and troubleshooting any of the firewalls preferably Juniper SRX or Palo Alto -Strong technical knowledge on configuring and troubleshooting Switching and Routing Additional Skills ------------------ -Knowledge on Cloud Technology -Knowledge on Scripting -Knowledge on Wireless Technology -SSL VPN Configuration and Troubleshooting Professional Attributes -Excellent verbal and written communication skills. -Customer handling skills and good interpersonal skills -Ability to take complete ownership of the tasks -High level of initiative and innovative ideas -Positive Attitude towards work -Ability to work as Team -Work independently with minimal assistance Additional Information -Certification on Cloud Technology Educational Qualification: Any degree / 15 years of Full time education
