Senior Engineer (Infra/Tunnel/ Bridge Design)

WSP is seeking a Senior Engineer specializing in Infra/Tunnel/Bridge Design. The role involves undertaking detailed design in civil, bridge/tunnel, and underground excavation works, executing projects, liaising with clients and authorities, and ensuring quality and timely delivery. Candidates should have a Civil and Structural Engineering degree, minimum 5 years of experience, and expertise in geotechnical, concrete, steel structures, and civil works analysis and design, utilizing various engineering software.

Must Have

• Undertake detailed design in Civil (drainage, sewage), Bridge/Tunnel, Underground Excavation and Tunnelling works
• Execute projects and liaise with clients, consultants, contractors, and authorities
• Perform checker role for design and drawing approval
• Analyze structural components using engineering software
• Manage projects for quality, on-time, and within-budget delivery
• Review and execute design works to meet quality and deadlines
• Degree in Civil and Structural Engineering recognized by Professional Engineers Board of Singapore
• Minimum 5 years relevant experience
• Good exposure in analysis and design of geotechnical works, concrete structures, steel structures, civil works, or soil-structure interactions
• Good knowledge of various engineering design software and analytical tools

• Involved in project management with design coordination experience

Responsibilities

• Undertake detailed design in one or more of the following field of expertise: Civil (drainage, sewage), Bridge/Tunnel, Underground Excavation and Tunnelling works
• Execution of projects and liaison with the Client, Client’s Consultants, Contractor, and authorities to provide technical support for design
• Checker to obtain approval of design and drawings
• Analysis on structural components using various engineering software
• Manage the projects to ensure quality work, delivery of projects on time and within budget
• Review design and execute the design works to ensure its quality and submission deadlines are met
• Provide guidance to the junior staff

Requirements

• Degree in Civil and Structural Engineering or its equivalent that is recognized by the Professional Engineers Board of Singapore
• Minimum 5 years relevant experience
• Good exposure in the analysis and design of geotechnical works, concrete structures, steel structures, civil works, or soil-structure interactions
• Good knowledge of the various engineering design software and analytical tools
• Involved in project management with design coordination experience will be considered as well
