Stord, The Consumer Experience Company, is seeking a seasoned Staff Software Engineer to join their rapidly growing team. This role involves serving as a technical leader, driving architectural decisions, delivering scalable solutions, and mentoring engineers. The engineer will collaborate with cross-functional teams to shape the technology roadmap and contribute across the full stack, utilizing technologies like Elixir/Phoenix and React, to enhance the CX platform and ensure seamless consumer interactions for clients.
Must Have

- Contribute across the full stack (Elixir/Phoenix, React)

- 8+ years of professional software engineering experience with technical leadership
- Expertise in Elixir or other functional programming languages
- Experience architecting and scaling distributed systems or complex web applications
- Deep knowledge of software development practices, design patterns, and system architecture
- Proven ability to lead and deliver technical projects from start to finish
- Strong communication skills with a collaborative, team-oriented mindset
- Ability to navigate ambiguity and thrive in a fast-paced, evolving environment
Good to Have
- Experience in early-stage or high-growth startup environments
- Background in logistics, supply chain, or e-commerce
- Experience working on Order Management Systems (OMS)
- Familiarity with building or scaling Consumer Experience platforms

What You’ll Bring
