Job Summary
The Sr. Staff Engineer will architect and deliver scalable, cloud-based enterprise solutions, focusing on performance and security. Responsibilities include translating product requirements into technical designs, developing and optimizing .NET Core microservices in containers/Cloud (Azure/AWS), and understanding existing system limitations. The role involves evaluating state-of-the-art technologies, converting requirements into design specifications and code, and building Proof of Concept feasibility studies. The engineer will participate in Agile practices, research emerging tools and cloud-native solutions, and resolve complex production issues, optimizing multi-threaded applications for high performance in distributed environments. Telecommuting from any U.S. home office is possible.
Must Have
- Bachelor’s degree or foreign equivalent in Electronics Engineering, Computer Science, or a related field
- 8 years of experience in a software engineering field
- 3 years of experience in C# and .net related technologies
- 3 years of experience in Relational Databases, SQL queries, Stored Procedures and Tuning experience
- 3 years of experience in writing design documents and developing code to adhere to design specifications
- 3 years of experience in performance analysis and tuning, troubleshooting resource contention and high utilization
- 3 years of experience following agile software development principles
- 3 years of experience in Cloud Infrastructure Experience (Azure or AWS)
- 3 years of experience in Software Design including developing SOA/Microservices using .Net Core
- 3 years of experience in analyzing and improving product efficiency using various development and test techniques
- 3 years of experience performing code reviews and with CI/CD
- 2 years of experience in Unit, integration, functional, and load testing

Job Description
Architect and deliver scalable, cloud-based enterprise solutions to enhance performance and security. Translate product requirements into technical designs. Develop and optimize .NET Core microservices in containers/Cloud (Azure/AWS) leveraging load balancing, monitoring, and RESTful API support. Understand existing system structure and reasons for performance or other limitations. Consider and evaluate state-of-the-art technologies and methods as candidates to solve complex problems in our domain. Convert requirement documents into design specifications. Convert design specifications into code and supporting tests. Work with the architect to build out Proof of Concept feasibility studies. Participate in Agile practices, sprint planning, and retrospectives to support iterative development, aligning with team and organizational goals. Research emerging tools, containerization practices (e.g. Docker), and cloud native solutions (Azure/AWS), sharing insights to drive innovation. Resolve complex production issues, performing root cause analysis, and optimize multi-threaded applications for high performance in distributed environments. May telecommute from any home office within the U.S.
JOB REQUIREMENTS: Bachelor’s degree or foreign equivalent in Electronics Engineering, Computer Science, or a related field and 8 years of experience in a software engineering field.
3 years of experience in:
- Developing experience in C# and .net related technologies

As a part of the total compensation package, this role may be eligible for the Corporate Bonus Plan or a role-specific commission, along with potential eligibility for equity participation. Candidates are typically placed into the range based on the preceding factors as well as internal peer equity. We estimate the base salary, for US-based employees, will be in this range from (min-mid-max, USD):
Base salaries for employees based in other locations are competitive for the employee’s home location.
