Apps Architect

LTIMindtree is seeking an experienced Apps Architect with 15+ years in application development. The role involves modernizing applications to Azure PaaS, optimizing hosting configurations, and technically guiding a team of 5+. Candidates need strong problem-solving skills and expertise in web application development using .NET, Java, NodeJS, or Python, with hands-on experience deploying on Azure PaaS services like App Service, Functions, AKS, or Container Instance. The architect will also analyze application dependencies and configurations, and set up Log Analytics.

Must Have

• 15+ years of development experience in application development
• Experience in hosting and configuring applications on application servers
• Experience in modernization of applications to Azure PaaS platform
• Expertise in application hosting configuration optimization in Azure PaaS services
• Hands-on web application development skills in .NET, Java, NodeJS, or Python
• Hands-on experience deploying applications on at least two Azure cloud PaaS services (App Service, Function, AKS, Container Instance)
• Primary database skills like database connectivity configurations
• Well versed with containerizing web application frontend and web services
• Knowledge of hosting containerized applications on Kubernetes
• Ability to analyze application dependencies and configuration issues
• Experience in setting up Log Analytics using Azure services

Good to Have

• Work with internal and customer stakeholders, and Project Managers to understand migration requirements and provide solutions
• Troubleshooting experience with Azure PaaS platform
• Basic understanding of containerization

Excellent problem-solving skills and ability to find alternate ways to reach the goals. Should have worked with the team size of above 5 App Team technically guided, managed and governed the team. Very good understanding about application, database and integration component migration pathways.

Primary skills

Hands on web application development skills in any of .NET, JAVA, NodeJS, Python.

Hands-on experience in deploying applications on at least two of Azure cloud PaaS services: Azure App Service, Azure Function, Azure Kubernetes Service, Azure Container Instance.

Primary database skills like database connectivity configurations etc.

Well versed with containerizing web application frontend and web services.

Should know the nitty-gritties of hosting containerized application on Kubernetes.

Ability to analyze application dependencies.

Ability to analyze the application configuration issues.

Experience in setting up Log Analytics setup using Azure services.

Secondary Skills

Work with Internal stakeholders, Customer stakeholders and Project Managers to understand the migration requirements and provide solutions accordingly.
