Job Summary
Are you passionate about advancing the future of Spatial Computing, Augmented Reality (AR), and Virtual Reality (VR) technologies? The ARKit team delivers core functionality that empowers Augmented Reality on Apple platforms. We are seeking a motivated, self-driven engineer to play a central role in the delivery of our next generation of technologies. Your key responsibilities will include actively profiling and seeking out system optimizations, while contributing to architectural design and implementation of our future features. Apple Vision Pro is a revolutionary spatial computer that seamlessly blends digital content with your physical space.
Must Have
- Bachelor or Master of Science degree in Computer Science or similar field, and a minimum 2 years of industry experience
- Proficiency in Obj-C, C++ and/or C
- Experience using visionOS, iOS and/or macOS system libraries
- Experience profiling and optimizing performance and/or memory
- Experience designing and implementing interfaces
Good to Have
- Proficiency in Swift
- Expertise in multi-threading and concurrent processing
- Experience optimizing and debugging complex systems
- Excellent problem solving, critical thinking and communication
- Strong sense of responsibility and obsession with quality
- Understanding of AI/ML models and/or Computer Vision

Job Description

- Proficiency in Obj-C, C++ and/or C. Proficiency in Swift is a bonus.
- Experience using of visionOS, iOS and/or macOS system libraries, frameworks, and technologies
- Experience profiling and optimizing performance and/or memory
- Experience designing and implementing interfaces
- Expertise in multi-threading and concurrent processing, especially in both software and hardware
- Experience optimizing and debugging complex systems
- Excellent problem solving, critical thinking and effective communication, both written and verbal with technical and non-technical cross-functional teams
- A strong sense of responsibility, and an obsession with quality and details
- Understanding of AI/ML models and/or Computer Vision is a bonus
