Job Description

As an Area Sales Manager (m/f/d) for the Sales Region Turkey, you will significantly contribute to the company's success by securing and increasing order intake for service sales in the Food sector. You will independently manage existing customers, collaborate closely with agents and Inside Sales partners, and continuously monitor the market, customers, and competitors for strategic alignment. This role involves approximately 60% international travel.
Must Have:
  • Successfully completed technical or commercial studies (e.g., mechanical engineering, electrical engineering, industrial engineering), or a technical/commercial education with further training (e.g., as a technician).
  • Several years of experience in international sales, preferably in special machine construction.
  • Proficiency in using ERP, CRM systems, and MS-Office.
  • Fluent English and Turkish language skills.
  • Willingness to travel approximately 60%.
  • Entrepreneurial thinking and acting, conceptual skills, strong communication, negotiation skills, and a high degree of personal responsibility.
  • Strong implementation skills, dynamic, team-oriented, independent, systematic, and customer-focused work style.

Job Description

With your contribution as Area Sales Manager (m/f/d) for the Sales Region Turkey, you will significantly contribute to the success of our company:

  • You secure and increase order intake in your sales region (Turkey) in the Food sector by selling serviceleistungen.
  • You also independently manage existing customers in your assigned markets.
  • You work closely with our customers, agents, and Inside Sales partners, ensuring that we achieve the jointly set goals.
  • For the strategic alignment of the company and service sales, you continuously monitor the market, our customers, and competitors.
  • You lead and support the internal sales channels.
  • Due to the international environment, the travel component is approximately 60%.

Qualifications

  • You have successfully completed technical or commercial studies (e.g., mechanical engineering, electrical engineering, industrial engineering), alternatively a technical/commercial education with corresponding further training, e.g., as a technician.
  • Furthermore, you have several years of experience in international sales, preferably in special machine construction.
  • You are proficient in using ERP, CRM systems, and MS-Office.
  • Fluent English and Turkish language skills are mandatory, in addition to a willingness to travel of approx. 60%.
  • You are characterized by entrepreneurial thinking and acting, conceptual skills, strong communication, negotiation skills, and a high degree of personal responsibility.
  • Furthermore, you are strong in implementation, dynamic, and a team player, and demonstrate an independent, systematic, and customer-oriented way of working.
