BOSi Art Studios is seeking an Art Director to lead 2D, 3D, and animation teams. This role involves providing expert feedback, creating and improving art pipelines, recruiting talent, and partnering with management to enhance art quality and drive business growth. The ideal candidate will have 5+ years of gaming industry experience in art direction and mentorship, with proficiency in various 3D and design software.

Must Have:

Create, strategize, and improve efficient art & design pipelines and tooling for all artists
Find and recruit talents for teams and products
Provide design and art feedback to internal artists and external partners to maintain quality and consistency across all projects
Partner with art Leads, management leads and the business team to standardize and improve art quality, to grow business opportunity and to further drive company growth
5+ years of experience in gaming industry and providing art direction and mentorship across a multi-disciplinary teams
Proficient working with 3DMAX, MAYA, Photoshop, Substance Painter, Substance Designer, Houdini, Unreal and Unity
Expert knowledge of Illustration, concept / design, 3D, animation and the creative development process
Strong understanding of game art
Persistent self-education

Job description

As Art Director of BOSi Art Studios, you will work with 2D & 3D artists, animators, art leads to give teams feedback for 2D, 3D and animation work by leveraging expert knowledge and experience.

Skills & requirements responsibilities

Create, strategize, and improve efficient art & design pipelines and tooling for all artists;

Provide design and art feedback to internal artists and external partners to maintain quality and consistency across all projects;
Partner with art Leads, management leads and the business team to standardize and improve art quality, to grow business opportunity and to further drive company growth.

Required qualifications

5+ years of experience in gaming industry and providing art direction and mentorship across a multi-disciplinary teams;
Proficient working with 3DMAX, MAYA, Photoshop，Substance Painter，Substance Designer，Houdini，Unreal and Unity etc;
Expert knowledge of Illustration, concept / design, 3D, animation and the creative development process;
Showcases a strong understanding of game art
Persistent self-education
Fluency in spoken English and Mandarin as an added advantage
