Art Production Management Director

We are looking for an experienced and visionary Art Production Management Director to lead the global Project Management organization within our Art Business Unit. In this role, you will establish, develop, and guide production management standards across all art projects, ensuring world-class quality, process consistency, and smooth collaboration between teams and clients worldwide.

Superpowers you have are

• Proven experience in production management leadership roles, ideally within art outsourcing, game development, or large-scale creative production environments.
• Strong understanding of production pipelines, resource planning, and cross-functional collaboration in a global context.
• Demonstrated success in managing and mentoring Project Managers, driving performance and professional growth.
• Expertise in designing, implementing, and improving production management processes, tools, and standards.
• Solid experience handling budgets, forecasting, and production metrics on a departmental level.
• Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills, with experience partnering with clients and senior leadership.
• Ability to foresee and resolve challenges related to global production operations, including time zone and cultural differences.
• Strategic mindset combined with a hands-on approach to operational excellence.

• Experience overseeing multiple large-scale art or game development projects simultaneously.
• Background in managing distributed teams across different countries and time zones.
• Strong analytical skills with the ability to identify risks and implement scalable solutions.
• Passion for developing people and fostering leadership in others.
• A track record of building and maintaining trustful relationships with clients such as major game publishers or studios.
• Advanced English communication skills (both written and verbal).

As a part of Room 8 studio, you will

• Lead and develop the global Project Managers team within the Art Business Unit.
• Establish and maintain production management standards, ensuring process efficiency and consistency across all art projects.
• Supervise and manage Project Managers’ budgets, performance, and recruitment in cooperation with TA and Finance teams.
• Oversee onboarding, education, and professional growth programs for Project Managers.
• Ensure compliance with production quality standards: budgeting accuracy, clear communication, goal alignment, and effective capacity management.
• Design, implement, and update production management guides, templates, and best practices.
• Create and supervise escalation paths for production-related issues and ensure timely resolution.
• Analyze performance review results and initiate improvements where needed.
• Drive educational initiatives and continuous improvement based on assessment outcomes and market trends.
