Job Description

The Account Technical Executive role involves leading pre/post-sales campaigns, managing software adoption, and fostering customer relationships. The role requires coordinating sales efforts, understanding technical requirements in digital and custom/analog implementation and/or functional/formal verification, and translating customer needs into solutions. The candidate should possess deep technical knowledge of electronic systems and HW design, and be able to lead and coordinate sales resources and customer interactions with Cadence product marketing and engineering. This role involves growing software adoption and understanding of the core technology requirements.
Must have:
  • Deep understanding of Digital implementation flows.
  • Experience in sales and account management or as an Applications Engineer.
  • Understanding of electronic systems and HW design.

The role requires working in a large team environment including: leadership for directing and coordinating sales and field AE resources, coordination/facilitation of customer interaction between Cadence Product Marketing/Engineering, understanding of the core technology requirements in the digital and custom/analog implementation and/or fuctional/formal verification space, coordination of sales strategies and efforts across worldwide customer operations.

•    Leading pre/post-sales campaigns, managing and growing software adoption in the territory for all Cadence software platform.
•    Territory being targeted will be defined as a set of large/small accounts with significant Cadence business (existing or potential).
•    The ability to foster and grow customer relationships throughout all levels of the customer organization to better connect our solutions with the customer's problems/business challenges and insure roadmap alignment for long term success.
•    Working knowledge of Strategic Selling techniques such as Miller Heiman a plus.
•    Must have a deep technical knowledge and understanding of Digital implementation flows (synthesis, place&route and signoff), and/or custom/analog and mixed signal flows, and/or experience with functional and formal verification tools/methodology, VIP.  Understanding of semiconductor manufacturing eco-systems.
•    Deep understanding of Cadence tools, flows and solutions and the ability to effectively translate customer needs to viable solutions internally to Cadence technical teams.

Experience:
•    Minimum bachelor’s degree in an engineering discipline or bachelor’s degree with technical sales experience. 
•    Min 7 years in sales and account management or as a Applications Engineer or Design Engineer with proven track record of success  
•    Deep understanding of electronic systems and HW design
