Job Description

As an Assembly Controller for PV systems, you will be responsible for quality assurance by inspecting photovoltaic systems over 100 kW on both AC and DC sides. You will ensure compliance with construction instructions, plans, and manufacturer specifications during site inspections, meticulously document measurements, and create technical reports. You will identify errors, record them, and develop constructive solutions, sharing your expertise with the team to improve processes. This role involves nationwide travel to support local teams.

Job Description

  • You inspect photovoltaic systems with a capacity of more than 100 kW on the AC and DC side, thus making an important contribution to quality assurance.
  • During random site inspections, you ensure that construction instructions, plans, and manufacturer specifications are adhered to.
  • You carefully monitor the professional execution of work and document measurements comprehensibly.
  • Creating technical reports and assessments, data maintenance, for example in the form of Air-Table reports, is part of your area of responsibility.
  • You identify error patterns, meticulously record them, and develop constructive solutions.
  • Together with your team, you share your expertise and contribute to the continuous improvement of our processes.
  • For our projects, you travel nationwide within Germany and support the local teams.

Qualifications

  • You have completed training as a master, engineer, or technician in electrical engineering.
  • You bring at least 2-3 years of experience in photovoltaic systems in Germany.
  • or: You have completed vocational training in electrical trades and approx. 10 years of demonstrable professional experience in photovoltaics / large projects.
  • You are familiar with expert activities and quality management and know the specifics of technical inspection of PV systems.
  • You have profound knowledge in AC and DC side testing of PV systems.
  • You reliably identify error patterns, meticulously document them, and derive appropriate measures.
  • A sense of responsibility, structure, and a solution-oriented way of working characterize you.
  • You communicate confidently in German (C2) and have good English skills.
