Job Description

The Asset preparation & Quality Control Operative will prepare and inbound tapes for a bulk digitisation project, assist with loading/unloading tapes from Sony Flexicart machines, and support Media Encoders with file Quality Control. This onsite, fixed-term contract role in Feltham, West London, requires working flexible shifts, 5 days Monday to Sunday, until December 31, 2025.
Must have:
  • Preparation and the inbounding of tapes: prepare, analyse and inbound the Tapes for bulk digitisation
  • Assist with loading and unloading of tapes from Sony Flexicart machines
  • Quality Control (QC): Assist with ensuring that the ingested footage meets broadcast standards or project requirements
  • Collaboration: working and communicating with team members, supervisors and project manager to ensure smooth workflow and agreed daily volume deadlines

**Job summary**

We currently have an exciting opportunity for an Asset preparation & Quality Control Operative to join us at Iron Mountain. The Asset preparation & Quality Control Operative will prepare and inbound the Tapes for a bulk digitisation project into Cubix automation application. They will assist in the loading & unloading of tapes from Sony Flexicart machines and also assist the Media Encoders with the Quality Control of files.

The role will be based onsite in Feltham and will initially be offered as a fixed term contract until 31 December 2025. This position will require working flexible shifts, the working shift is 5 days Monday to Sunday.
