Job Summary
This Associate Finance Analyst position at Visa involves daily responsibilities including receiving, processing, and responding to customer billing questions and requests. The role requires learning and navigating multiple systems and adhering to published policies. Key tasks include assisting with accounting, pricing updates, cash application, handling billing disputes, preparing reports, processing customer requests, reconciling pricing, performing month-end analysis, and collaborating with internal and external teams on revenue processes and special projects. This is a hybrid role.
Must Have
- Receive, process, and respond to customer billing questions and requests.
- Learn and navigate through multiple systems to resolve requests.
- Learn and follow published policies for request resolution.
- Assist with accounting, pricing updates, cash application, and billing disputes.
- Prepare reports and analyses.
- Process requests from internal and external customers, including providing invoice copies and updating account information.
- Reconcile pricing in the billing system to Customer quotes.
- Perform month end reconciliation and flux analysis.
- Collaborate with Sales and Sales ops to generate credits and backfills.
- Assist with revenue processes: prepare and send invoices, reconcile payments, address billing disputes, and resolve customer balances.
- Collaborate with internal and external parties.
- Perform special projects and ad hoc analyses as needed.
- Minimum of 6 months of work experience or a Bachelor's Degree.
Good to Have
- 2 or more years of work experience (Associate level).
- Bachelor’s degree in business, finance, or accounting.
- Good working knowledge of English and Spanish.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Strong interpersonal skills.
- Detail oriented.
- Able to work independently in a cross-functional environment.
- Comfortable working with a heavy volume of data.
- Able to perform under pressure with tight deadlines.
- Accustomed to a fast-paced and often ambiguous environment.
- Able to contribute new ideas and solutions for current processes and business challenges.
- Strong organizational and project-management skills.
- Able to simultaneously manage multiple issues and projects.
- Self-motivated.
- Willing to utilize and learn new technology to solve problems.
- Strong skills in Microsoft Excel.

Job Description

- Assist with accounting, pricing updates, cash application, handling billing disputes, and preparing reports and analyses
- Process requests from customers both internal and external: answer billing questions, provide invoice copies, and update account information
- Reconcile pricing in the billing system to Customer quotes

This is a hybrid position. Expectation of days in the office will be confirmed by your Hiring Manager.
Qualifications
Basic Qualifications:
- Minimum of 6 months of work experience or a Bachelor's Degree
Preferred Qualifications:
- Associate: 2 or more years of work experience
- Bachelor’s degree in business, finance, or accounting is preferred
- Good working knowledge of English and Spanish
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
