Rockstar Games is seeking a passionate Associate Production Coordinator to join its Character Art team in Oakville, ON. This full-time, in-office role involves enhancing global collaboration across Art, Code, and Design, ensuring efficient communication and transparent workflows. The coordinator will work with artists, leads, and directors to schedule, track, and complete team goals, proactively identifying and solving problems. The role focuses on providing production support, managing asset flow, assigning tasks, and preparing reports to maintain an inclusive and productive environment.
Good To Have:
  • Professional experience in project management, software or video game development, or similar industry.
  • Proven successful production experience organizing and tracking large amounts of information.
  • Genuine enthusiasm for video games; especially Rockstar titles.
Must Have:
  • Provide production support and coordination for the Character Art team.
  • Understand team needs and workflows across departments to streamline project management processes.
  • Help manage the flow of assets and information across team members and disciplines.
  • Assign, prioritize, and track tasks using in-house project management tools.
  • Prepare clear and actionable production reports and documentation.
  • Monitor team goals and timelines, ensuring milestones are met.
  • Proactively identify and resolve production challenges before they impact the team.
  • Degree / diploma in a related discipline.
  • Proficiency with project management and communication tools (e.g. Excel, JIRA, Confluence).
  • Strong organizational, multitasking, and problem-solving skills with keen attention to detail.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to collaborate effectively with other team disciplines (code, design, technical art).
  • Self-motivated, interested in games and curious about how things work.
  • Experience maintaining project plans, schedules, and internal documentation (e.g. wikis or dashboards).
  • Adaptable and self-motivated, eager to learn new workflows and tools.
